INTRODUCTION


The MSU Accounting Club is a student chapter of the Institute of Management Accounts and is located in Glass Hall on Missouri State University's campus in Springfield, Missouri.  The Accounting Club offers monthly meetings featuring accounting professionals, plant tours, social and service events, and leadership conferences.  Members also have the opportunity to attend IMA parent chapter meetings where you can meet more professionals in the area and attend IMA conferences to build professional skills.

The Accounting Club is open to all undergraduate and graduate students who show an interest in the accounting profession.  Members have the opportunity to network with professionals and other students, boost their resume by adding club activity, and build professional and leadership skills by attending conferences and meetings.

MISSION

The purpose shall be to promote understanding of modern accounting through organized meetings and activities, and further, to assist all members in their career endeavors by providing opportunities to meet prospective employers and learn about career opportunities in their companies.
